ARLINGTON, VA – Kastle Systems, the established leader in building and office security systems, has hired B. George Ballman, Jr. as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development, and Pamela S. Singleton as Vice President, Marketing Services. Steven Rindner, Executive Vice President, made the announcement.
Mr. Ballman will be responsible for cultivating relationships with existing strategic clients and enhancing the coordination of marketing, sales, and operations. “George brings with him significant experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, which will help us expand our market share and client base, as well as provide better service to our clients everywhere,” said Mr. Rindner. “We are confident that Mr. Ballman’s leadership ability and expertise in developing strategic partnerships will help fuel Kastle’s rapid growth.”
Prior to joining Kastle, Mr. Ballman held the position of Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Citigroup, where he led a team responsible for analyzing industry trends, developing strategic courses of action, and building, expanding and maximizing partnerships. Before Citigroup, Mr. Ballman was employed by America Online, where he guided numerous groups to bring new products and services to market, acquire and retain members, and develop and negotiate new strategic partnerships. He also spent several years in the public sector as a prosecutor. Mr. Ballman earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a JD from Georgetown University. He also received a BS/BA from the University of Richmond.
An executive with more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in business management, marketing, finance, and operations, Ms. Singleton is charged with developing Kastle’s competitive strategy and marketing objectives. She leads the company’s public relations, events participation, and sales support efforts. “Pam’s successful marketing and business experience, combined with her natural communications ability will be an asset to Kastle Systems,” said Mr. Rindner. “We welcome the opportunity to rely on her expertise to help us fully convey our company’s compelling message: only Kastle has the unique capabilities to run security systems 24/7 for building owners and tenants.”
Prior to joining Kastle, Ms. Singleton served as Director, Client Service and Marketing for Winston Partners, McLean, Va., a private investment firm. She served as Chief Financial Officer for Digital Focus, Inc., an information technology consultancy in Herndon, Va., where she raised financing to fuel the company’s rapid growth and led accounting/finance, investor relations and human resources. Ms. Singleton also served as Vice President for Crosshill Financial Group Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based investment bank, where she provided financial and advisory services to businesses. Ms. Singleton earned an MBA in International Business and Marketing from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
