Falls Church, Va. — Kastle Systems today announced that it worked with A.J. Dwoskin & Associates to help Fairfax County Police identify a suspect involved in two Springfield-area robberies. At the time of the crime, Kastle’s advanced video monitoring system was used to access, pull and supply vital high resolution video information needed to make an arrest.
On the morning of Friday, July 29, the Apple Federal Credit Union in Springfield Plaza was robbed. The perpetrator fled on foot but several high quality images were captured by Kastle’s security cameras. Kastle supplies A.J. Dwoskin & Associates a managed video service that includes a combination of high resolution, multi-megapixel cameras, smart video analytics and 24 X 7 monitoring by experienced security professionals. The system is designed to detect and respond to security violations.
Directly after the robbery, Kastle security experts were reviewing and preparing footage. Detailed images of both the suspect and a related vehicle were quickly supplied to Fairfax County Police. Officers used that information to make an arrest the following week, connecting the suspect to a similar robbery in Kingstowne.
